It appears to be all original except for the wheels. Has a 272 v8 that is not running but turns over and has a 3 speed standard transmission. The steering is frozen and the rod from the steering box to tie rod needs replaced. This will make it difficult to load on a transport or trailer needs king pins, needs hood hinges along with other repairs.. It comes with a used steering box and a used running board. It is currently stored at a garage lot so the doors are tied shut and the hood is secured in place and pickup of the truck will need to be scheduled with the garage owner. It is advisable to come look at this truck before bidding. It has a clear virginia title. Ask questions, sold as is.

This 1955 ford f100 is a project truck that will start, run, and drive short distances but runs from a gas container now. A gas tank is needed as the old one was rusted out. The engine is a 239 v8 y-block that appears to be original with a 3 speed standard shift. The brakes lines were replaced and the brakes work but need more work. It has a new battery box. The hood is badly dented from a tree falling on it but opens and closes. The radiator was replaced and looks almost new. The generator is not working and a 12v conversion was started but not done. There are rust areas all over the truck that need some attention, some of them are the cab corners, floorboards, the door bottoms,running boards, the tail gate, fenders, bed, and the frame needs reinforced in some places. That is just some of the areas that are rusted, so this is a project needing lots of work. The seat is worn and needs recovered and the tires look good but need replaced and one leaks air. The doors both open and close, but not great. The rear window was replaced, but the driver side door is missing the glass and has plexi-glass to keep most of the rain out. The windshield is not broken. It has a almost new glass pack muffler, but the exhaust is not completed and the manifold is rusted at the flange. The carburetor needs rebuilt for it to run a little better, but will run as is. It has a clear virginia title and is sold as is. Thanks for looking an please ask questions if interested...

A gas tank and a new battery holder that i bought for it goes with it and needs installed. The engine is a 239 v8 y-block that appears to be original with a 3 speed standard shift. The brakes work some but need work and the generator is not working. The lights and blinkers do work, at least some of them with a charged 12v battery, the system was partly changed to 12 volts. The hood is badly dented from a tree falling on it and needs replaced and the hinges are bent, but opens and closes. The radiator was replaced and looks almost new.
